RZD International starts building railway bridge near Beska on Stara Pazova–Novi Sad section

RZD International has started building a double-track railway bridge near Beska on the Stara Pazova-Novi Sad section of the Belgrade-Budapest railway, it was announced today.

The announcement says that the bridge will be built not far from the Beska station and that the ground clearing and geodetic works are currently in progress.

The construction of the viaduct will take about a year and a half, and after all the works on the project on that section are completed, passenger trains will run at up to 200 km/h, whereas freight trains will be able to run at up to 130 km/h.

RZD International is modernizing and building the double-track railway on the Stara Pazova-Novi Sad section, more than 40 kilometers long, including the construction of the bridge.
