"Medela" plans to increase production by 50%

- Confectionery industry "Medela" from Vrbas has reached the production of about 6,000 tons a year in the last few years, and it has an ambitious plan for this and next year – to enlarge production by nearly 50% - said Vera Stojanović, the Director General of that company.

- Due to the crisis that is knocking on everybody’s door, most people will say that our plan is much too ambitious, but if we bear in mind that "Medela’s" confectioneries are firmly positioned in the market, it is most likely that we will resume our development even in this difficult time – said Ms. Stojanović.

Stojanović pointed out that "Medela’s" products were present in both local and foreign market – in Switzerland, Russia, Germany, France, Sweden, Netherlands and Austria.

- "Medela" is constantly working on improvement of technology and design, automation of processes, maintenance of quality, procurement of top-quality raw materials and adaptation of comprehensive appearance in the market – said Stojanović.
