From hackers to Bible quotes – Sinergija 18 in Belgrade on October 24-26

What's common to the way hackers think, the digital transformation in sports and one of the most famous quotes from the Bible? The answer is simple – Sinergija 18!

A multitude of new, interesting topics and lecturers will mark the 18th birthday of one of the biggest ICT events in the region, Sinergija, held in Belgrade on October 24-26, 2018 at Hotel Crowne Plaza. Under the slogan Digital Breakthrough, Sinergija invites everyone interested to head for a digital breakthrough and innovations which change the perception of the world and business as we know them.

With the support of Microsoft and numerous eminent partners from the world of IT and business, this year's conference will provide a stage for over 70 lecturers in three days, who will introduce visitors to the latest technological achievements.

Kamil Baczyk, a security expert, will open the event. He will explain why you need to think like a hacker in order to secure your cyber-safety. Baczyk will be joined by the best rated speaker at the previous three Sinergija events, Krunoslav Mihalic, Cyber Security Consultant at Microsoft, whose lecture will connect the “Let there be light” quote with the “Red vs. Blue” security exercise. Sander Berkouwer and Damir Dizdarevic will discuss the same topic from different angles – Berkouwer will talk about the passwordless concept and give examples of creating one's own FIDO (Fast Identity Online), whereas Dizdarevic will provide an engineer's angle of where passwords are actually stored, where they go to and in which format, what the real dangers are and what the most frequent mistakes are, as well as how far from the passwordless approach we are today.

At the Business Day, we will have the opportunity to learn plenty of new information about technologies and various fields of business. One lecture will be dedicated to examples of the way modern technologies change the judiciary. Sports and IT aficionados will certainly find the presentation of Marko Vasiljevic and Marko Marjanovic interesting, as they will use the example of Red Star Belgrade football club to show the various processes of digital transformations in sports, from the multidisciplinary approach in monitoring the training process to how a sports club can achieve better results with modern digital technologies.
