Investments in HEALTH CARE IN SERBIA that drew greatest attention of users of eKapija in 2008

EKapija’s investment has recently carried out the analysis and formed therank-list of investments and investment ideas that drew the greatest attentionof eKapija’s users in 2008. The results are very interesting, with manysurprises, and that is why we have decided to share these information with you.

The projects are classified into 10 categories, and this time we are goingto present the most read articles in the category of HEALTH CARE.

The first-ranked investment is the Emergency Ward of the Clinical Centerof Vojvodina in Novi Sad, which our northern province finally got aftermore than 25 years of waiting. The chief contractor of the project worth 23mEUR is company Dijagonala from Novi Sad, while the project has been elaboratedby Arhimonn. That is one capital project, there is no doubt.

The second investment on this list is another huge project – Reconstructionof four clinical centers in Serbia, and the projects for 200m EUR worth of investmentare being realized by Italian companies "Studio Altieri" (ClinicalCenter of Serbia) and "Steam" (clinical hospitals in Novi Sad, Nišand Kragujevac. The main foreign partner of this mega-investment will beEuropean Investment Bank.

The third-ranked is "Naltrex Zone", the special clinic fortreatment of addiction diseases in Belgrade. The carriers of this investment are Dragan and Slobodan Švrakić.Doctor Dragan Švrakić, a member of Serbian Academy of Science and Art(SANU), is a psychiatrist specialist and a regular professor at the Universityof Washington in Saint Louise. His plan is to apply his rich experience in workwith US addicts in Serbia, as well as to introduce new methods of treatmentthat are used in the USA.

The fourth investment on this list is very important project – Medical Waste Recycling Center in Subotica.This project has been implemented in Health Center Subotica, and the realizationof the series of similar projects is currently underway in other locations inSerbia.

The fifth is the Project by Dr. Miodrag Stojković: Special Hospital for SterilityTreatment in Leskovac, which experience numerous ups and downs (we allexpect that these problems will be soon forgotten, and that the project isgoing to be implemented just the way it was planned),

The next investments on the list are: refurbishment of Maternity Ward inClinical Hospital "Dr Dragiša Mišović", Regional Center forArtificial Insemination in Subotica, "Pharmaswiss" drug packing linein Čukarica, ...
