IGB Automotive announces growth of production and employment of new engineers – Indjija plant marks 11 years of operations

IGB Automotive marked the 11th anniversary of successful operations in the territory of the Municipality of Indjija on Tuesday, September 25, and announced new employments. The ceremony was attended by representatives of I.G. Bauerhin GmbH from Germany, the Embassy of Germany in Belgrade, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, the Development Agency of Serbia, the Development Agency of Vojvodina, the president of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Srem and the deputy president of the Municipality of Indjija.

– Since the factory in Indjija started producing heaters 11 years ago, the number of produced parts has been growing continuously, and with that the sales as well. Since its foundation, IGB Serbia is on a constant upswing and that makes us very proud. The newly built production hall has been filled with new machines and facilities in the meantime and I am sure that investments in Indjija are in the right place – pointed out Dr Volker Prescher, Production Manager at I.G. Bauerhin for Europe.

He added that the biggest and, in his opinion, the best factory of I.G. Bauerhin was located there.

– The employees here are quick, reliable, flexible, technically skilled, very experienced and, and this is especially important, always ready to improve themselves. With their experience and their work, they provide support to other production locations. Several colleagues from Serbia have traveled to Mexico for consultations – Prescher said.

He added that new, innovative products were needed in order to remain competitive and that their development in the future would largely depend on engineers that IGB plans to employ in Indjija soon.

The company's General Manager, Dalibor Beric, said that, in 2018, IGB Automotive had realized new business results and kept the growing trend in production capacities.

– New projects have been realized and we've had the best results so far, which points to the fact that the hard work of all our employees pays off. Our sales are bigger than in the same period last year and this is a success of us all – Beric pointed out.

He reminded that the Indjija-based company is recording the biggest growth, excellent results and efficiency within I.G. Bauerhin Group.

– The constant adaptation to the demands of our clients, the modernization of production technologies, the professional development of all our employees and the constant work with them are the only way for this very successful trend to continue. In the upcoming period, we are to implement a new technology – the production of fan engines and the assembly of the entire car seat fan, of various types. At the same time, we are to increase the production capacities. We do, then, have a very serious task ahead of us and a clearly defined goal, which requires a full engagement, dedication and hard work from us all and I believe that we will succeed in this all together – Dalibor Beric is optimistic.
