This is the latest global technology in this field, called the “continual nitration of cellulose”, under the license of the German company Josef Meissner.
– The Government of Serbia invested EUR 4,406,000 in the construction of this facility and the technology, and our factory invested another EUR 1,575,000. Only five employees will operate this valuable equipment – Serbian Army Colonel Rados Milovanovic (74), Director General of MB Namenska, says for Glas Zapadne Srbije.
– In the upcoming period, we plan to master two new technologies – triple base powder and modular charges for the famous 155-mm howitzer produced by Jugoimport in Smederevska Palanka. This requires special ammunition, so we are going for a new technology, with the support of the Government of Serbia. These are the said modular charges which require triple base powders. These two investments cost EUR 16 million and will be largely provided from our own funds – Milovanovic said.
Last year, MB Namenska recorded a profit of EUR 13 million. In the first seven months of this year, the profit amounted to EUR 7 million.
