Investments in SERBIAN INDUSTRY that drew greatest attention of users of eKapija in 2008

EKapija’s investment team has recently carried out the analysis and formedthe rank-list of investments and investment ideas that drew the greatestattention of eKapija’s users in 2008. The results are very interesting, withmany surprises, and that is why we have decided to share these information withyou.

The projects are classified into 10 categories, and this time we are goingto present the most read articles in the category of INDUSTRY.

The expected first place belongs to the announcement of Fiat’s arrival inKragujevac, the investment that hasbeen slowed down because of the global economic crisis, but it is noticeablethat both sides want to do as many things as possible in the difficultconditions and to get ready for normal economic time.

The second is the announcement of the return of IKEA concern to Serbia.Ikea is focused on both production cooperation and selection of good locations,so that we are very close to the announcement of the location for large Ikeashowroom in the vicinity of Belgrade.

The third place belongs to the representatives of Belgian company "ImmoIndustry Group", which deals with industrial properties all over the worldand builds logistic-industrial park in Serbia, at 11 ha alongside highway E-75, in the vicinity of StaraPazova.

The next is extremely brave project by Stanko Kovačević and company GlobusAuto, which organize the production ofelectric automobiles in Debeljača.

The fifth place belongs to company ICM electronics, which started production of robotic lines in thevicinity of Ruma (laureate of AUREA 2009 award), while thesixth-ranked investment is Metalka Majur’s 12m EUR worth of investment in cablefactory in Majur, near Jagodina.
