KAIZEN™ is Japanese business philosophy based on continuous improvement and everyday small steps made by all the participants in a business process. It comes from Japanese words kai, meaning “change”, and zen, meaning “to improve”. It has spread from Japan to the entire world and is now one of the leading models for improving business processes.
The second KAIZEN™ congress, which will bring together more than 300 participants, will feature five panels where 33 speakers, professionals in the field exclusively, will discuss the following subjects: can Japanese investments in Serbia increase and how, can Serbs be more efficient than the Japanese, will Serbia have to import workforce, will robots replace people in business operations?
Among others, the list of speakers at the congress includes the adviser of the Embassy of Japan in Belgrade, Tetsuya Tsubota, General Manager of the Mitsubishi Corporation Office in Serbia, Naoki Tsukada, the General Manager of the Itochu Corporation in Belgrade, Shigeo Hashimoto, and other experts when it comes to the KAIZEN approach and improving business processes in companies.
The two-day congress consists of the working part, within which five panels will be held, whereas the second day is reserved for the so-called Gemba Walk (gemba: the place where value is created), during which a tour of two factories which are implementing KAIZEN™ will take place, namely Tarkett in Backa Palanka and Henkel in Krusevac, says the announcement by the Japanese-Serbian Business Association (JSBA).
The organizers of the second KAIZEN™ congress in Serbia are the Kaizen Institute Serbia and the JSBA.
