The Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali said today that the Government of Serbia would adopt the Draft Law on State Administrative Fees in October and added that some of the fees would be abolished.

– It will help create a better business environment, Mali said in a meeting with the member of American Chamber of Commerce.

The Minister announced the reduction of earnings tax and that the unemployment insurance, which was 0.75%, might be abolished.

He added that the preparations for Tax and Customs administration reforms are in motion, which is what the business owners were also in favour of.

Mali said that the expected increase in salaries in the public sector and pensions would contribute to the increase in consumption expenditure and consequently to the increase of gross national product. He added that the Government's goal was to preserve and even increase the growth rate which was 4.9% in the first six months of 2018.
