Tender for Belgrade Trade Fair extended until May 15
The Privatization Agency of Serbia has extended the deadline
for submission of bids for purchase of 70% of capital of the Belgrade Trade
Fair prior to May 15th.
The tender was announced in December 2008, and all companies that have been
organizing minimum 25 trade fairs a year over the last three years and
registered incomes of more than 50m EUR in 2007 can participate in the tender.
The capital of the Belgrade Trade Fair has been estimated at 20.5m EUR, and the
company’s profit in 2007 amounted to 1.5m EUR, which is 36% more than in 2006.
The Belgrade Trade Fair occupies the area of total of 22 ha, it owns the
facilities at 106,241 square meters, inclusing six high-category exhibition
halls with the exhibition space at 53,221 square meters.
The company registered 15.32m EUR worth of incomes in 2007, and incomes from services were growing by average of 14.2% per year in the period 2003-2007.
Italian Trade Fair “Rimini Fiera” and Austrian “Reed Exhibitions” have expressed the interest in participation in the tender for sale of the Belgrade Trade Fair.
