Reconstruction of most dilapidated highway section in Serbia begins – Stretch from Batrovci to Kuzmin to get 21.6 km of new asphalt

The reconstruction of the highway from Batrovci to Kuzmin has begun, and more intensive works are to start in late August, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction Zorana Mihajlovic stated yesterday.

– The contractor on this section is Integral. The traffic is partially cut off, but not fully, as this is the busiest season. We expect the works to start at full intensity in late August – Mihajlovic told the press.

The 21.6-km Batrovci-Kuzmin section is the most dilapidated one on the highway network in Serbia. The reconstruction of both directions is being carried out after more than 20 years and should, according to the announcements of the Roads of Serbia, be completed by the end of 2019.
