Bus powered by natural gas – presentation of environment-friendly city transportation means in Kragujevac

In association with factory MAZ from Belarus, Kragujevac-based company "Vulović" has produced the first city low-floor bus powered by natural gas. It has been pointed out at the promotion of this vehicle in the center of Kragujevac that the production of environment-friendly, that is, low-floor gas-powered buses, was started for the sake of preservation of environment and people’s health in polluted urban areas. According to the announcement, these buses will be in use in Kragujevac, Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš.

The experts from Belgrade-based Military-Technical Institute have assisted the staff in "Vulović transport" in the design of technical-technological solutions for production of gas-powered buses. During the realization of this project, company "Vulović transport" established business cooperation with "MAZ" from Belarus and with numerous European companies that produce parts and components for motor vehicles.

People from “Vulović transport", of which basic field of work has been the city transportation in Kragujevac until recently, say that they plan to start producing natural gas-powered trucks, which will be primarily intended for public utility and building companies.
