Indian companies "Mahindra" and "Sonalika" interested in production of tractors in Serbia - negotiations are underway

The Minister of Agriculture, Saša Dragin, said today (March 3rd, 2009) in Belgrade that Indian companies "Mahindra" and "Sonalika"
had expressed interest in production of tractors in Serbia.
Following the signing of the agreement on agricultural cooperation with the Indian authorized ministry, Dragin said that the value of that greenfield investment had not been defined yet and that the negotiations were underway.
- During the preliminary talks with the representatives of India, we presented the conditions under which Serbia enables the investors to get the parcel with infrastructure - said Dragin.
