– To us, it is important to have a good road, as we make leather seats for luxury cars and it is important for the goods not to be damaged. The opening of a new production facility of 5,000 square meters is planned as well. We will have it built in the same location and employ new workers – announced Luciano Corso, head of quality control at Pasubio.
Mayor of Sabac Nebojsa Zelenovic said that it was important to help enterprises that invest a lot in the town and open new factories.
– Pasubio employs 200 people, and they also plan to expand the production. When we heard that the biggest producer of leather car seats in this area needed a better road, the City decided to reconstruct the section in question. We make investments where they are most needed, in order to raise the level of economic activities.
Milan Vasic, the director of the PE Infrastruktura, said that, in addition to large investments in the Northwestern Business Zone, it was also important to invest in the Eastern one and added that the reconstruction of the said road was a good example of it. The value of the reconstruction is RSD 4 million, and it is funded by the City of Sabac through the PE Infrastruktura.
Pasubio opened its first facility in Sabac in June 2017.
