Furniture showroom "Kompresor" opened in Dorćol – furniture for office and apartment at one place

Companies "Nitea", "Haus", "Kare" and "Micros Group" opened furniture showroom “Kompresor” today (February 19, 2009) at 1,800 square meters in Žorža Klemansoa Street in Belgrade. This showroom is opened at the location of the former hall for repair of vehicles of automobile company "Kompresor". These companies invested about 200,000 EUR in reconstruction of the hall and rented it on 10 years.

These four companies, led by successful business women (Vesna Ječmenica, Dragana Zeljković, Divna Minić and Milka Tomić-Perović), have started realization of "Kompresor" project and turned the old industrial space into a new modern showroom in the heart of lower Dorćol.

Thanks to their vision, day-and-night work and determination, once dilapidated facility, which was built in 1970’s, has got a completely new purpose. "Kompresor" is the place where all those interested will be able to find a new inspiration to furnish offices and apartments.

Company "Nitea" is the agent of Swiss company "Vitra", German company "Sedus", American "Herman Miller" and Austrian "Hali", as well as some other well-known companies that produce office furniture.

"Kare Design" is an European brand founded in 1981 in Munich as a small furniture store of students Jugen Reiter and Peter Schonhofen. Today it has over 300 workers in 12 offices in Germany and Austria, as well as the chain of stores in about 60 countries.

"Haus" was founded at the end of year 2005 and, ever since, it has been representing some of the most famous furniture manufacturers in Europe, such as "Vitra home", "Bonaldo", "Doimo", "Cor", "Saba Italia", "Zanotta", "Slamp", "Mottura", "Lago", "Tonin casa", "Fendi", "Baxter", "Creazioni", "SoftLine"…

"Micros Group" was founded three years ago as a partner company of three independent legal subjects: "Mikros Mobile Centar", "Business Solutions and Support" and "Intec". It is a local company that deals with realization of complete IT solutions, system integration, supply of IT consulting services, and support in resolving of business problems of its clients. The company relies on individual approach to each client.
