Campaign "Let's clean Serbia", worth 6.5m EUR, starts on March 1st

One of the actions of the Ministry of Ecology in 2009 is campaign "Let's clean Serbia" whose realization will start on March 1st. This campaign, which will include public utility companies, the Army of Serbia, municipalities, enterprises, non-government organizations, public persons and citizens, costs about 6.5m EUR.

Every citizen of Serbia produces about 1 kg of waste per day, which means that between 2.3 and 2.5m tons of waste are generated in Serbia every year.
