The Indjija-based company Top Spider exports to 15 countries of the world, among which are Poland, Egypt and Albania, and they export over 50% of rubber components for cars and tractors to foreign markets.

The percentage might soon increase, as they plan a more intensive penetration of the market of the European Union. The first opportunity will come in September, at the auto industry fair in Frankfurt, where they will exhibit for the first time.

Top Spider was founded in Indjija in 1995. In over 20 years of doing business, the number of employees has reached 29. The company is owned by the married couple Ceranic, Toplica and Daniela. Since 2002, they have regularly exhibited at the Belgrade Car Show, and they once took part in the Istanbul fair.

As they say for our portal, they developed the family business through their own efforts and persistent market research. As they say, the business is growing year after year. The profit of RSD 9,872,000 in 2016 grew to RSD 10,890,000 last year. The operating income has seen similar growth, from 85 to 102 million dinars.

– Last year, we went from being micro company to the macro level and we hope to grow even further and to be able to employ more people. On the other hand, we won’t expand our range of activities and we will remain focused of rubber car components – says Daniela Ceranic.

According to our interviewee, Top Spider invests a lot in the production facility.

– This year, we bought a machine from Austria worth EUR 100,000. We had applied for subsidies, but didn’t receive any, unfortunately. The purchase was financed from our own funds and credits. The machine we’ve bought is one of 300 in the world and the only such machine in the Balkans, and it will help us to no longer have to import any components for our operations. Until now, we imported as much as 40% – co-owner of the Indjija-based company explains and adds that she hopes that they will be able to afford another such machine in the future.

Our interviewee adds that the company's exports grew 20% y-o-y and that they procure a part of their secondary raw materials from Tigar Pirot, with which they cooperate very well.

The company was shortlisted for the Blic Entrepreneur 2017 award.
