Real Madrid approves Ronaldo's move to Juventus

Real Madrid C. F. inform that, as per Cristiano Ronaldo`s wishes and at his request, the club has allowed the player to complete his move to Juventus F. C.

Ronaldo is to switch teams after nine years, and the move is speculated to be worth EUR 105 million.

He became Real Madrid`s leading all-time goalscorer, having scored 451 goals in his 438 appearances. In total, he won 16 pieces of silverware, including four European Cup crowns, three of which came in successive years, with these four continental triumphs coming in the past five seasons.

– Real Madrid would today like to place on record its thanks to a player who has shown himself to be the best in the world and made his mark on one of the greatest periods in our club`s history and on the world game. Real Madrid will always be his home – the press release says.

Ronaldo, who won the FIFA Ballon d`Or award five times and claimed the Golden Shoe three times, will allegedly be earning EUR 30 million a year in Turin.

The renowned football player is only a medical examination away from playing for Juventus. This is expected to take place next week, as Ronaldo is on a vacation in Greece.

Juventus will begin its preparations for the new season on July 23 in the USA, with Ronaldo most probably in its ranks.
