Port of Adria obtains ISPS certificate

In May 2018, Port of Adria JSC obtained ISPS certificate, i.e. Statement on compliance of the port with international security standards. As the company says, conditions for obtaining ISPS certificate are regulated by the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code).

With ISPS Certificate, Port of Adria JSC is officially put on the list of internationally recognized secure ports. This certificate does not only imply formal obtaining of the Declaration of Conformity; the inspection of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs also verified the implementation of Port Facility Security Plan.

The objective of Port of Adria JSC and its major owner Global Ports Holding, the press release says, is strict application of all international security standards, continuation of investments in security and contribution to the promotion of Bar and Montenegro.
