Belgian Talent 4 Blinds opens facility for production of blinds in Zrenjanin

A production facility of the Belgian company Talent 4 Blinds (T4B), which produces blinds and decorative elements for windows, opened this Thursday, June 28, 2018, at the rented production hall of the company Alpin, in the Zrenjanin industrial zone Ecka – Southeast.

The facility, at which 50 people work on two production lines, opened in the presence of Belgian Ambassador Leo D’aes. The ambassador said that this was a large Belgian company and that the opening of the facility was the beginning of a successful cooperation, which will bring prosperity to the local community as well.

Following the opening of the facility, Patrick Veervish, the owner of Avalon and co, the parent group of T4B, and Cedomir Janjic, the mayor of Zrenjanin signed the protocol of cooperation at the Town Hall.

The manager of T4B for Serbia, Roel Elfring, pointed out that Zrenjanin was the best option for investment of all the towns in the region and that, as he said, the plan was to employ 180 to 200 workers by 2020 and for the total value of the investments to amount to around EUR 3.5 million.

He added that the products would be meant for the Western Europe and Russia.

The Town Assembly of Zrenjanin reached the decision at the latest session to allocate 5,000 square meters of construction land in the industrial zone to this company, without compensation, but the final decision is expected to be made by the Government of Serbia.
