"Brikel" invests 3m EUR in production in company "Trayal" - Petar Krastev appointed as new CEO
- Bulgarian company "Brikel" will invest 3m
EUR in "Trayal Corporation" within the next few days in order for
production in that company to start by the end of January – Petar Krastev, the new
CEO of the Kruševac’s tiry factory , announced.
- According to the plan, between 15 and 25m EUR will be invested in "Trayal
Corporation" prior to June 2009 – said Krastev.
As Krastev explained, the aim of the new management of "Trayal" is to
make it possible for the company to start generating profits in the second half
of year 2009.
Krastev said that he had been appointed as the Director General of "Trayal
Corporation" after "Brikel" had estimated that "former
management is unable to carry out the activities that lie ahead".
He said that the managerial team also included the new Deputy Director General
of "Trayal", Maksim Ivanov, and that Antoni Mitev, the Deputy General
Manager of 15 Bulgarian companies in Serbia, would help the team.
Krastev also said that "Brikel" had asked the Privatization Agency of
Serbia to extend the deadline for realization of 8.6m EUR worth of mandatory
investments until the end of year 2009.
- We asked the Privatization Agency to cut our mandatory investments by 30% for
the third, fourth and fifth 12-month period, and to extend the deadline by one
year for the second, third, fourth and fifth period, and the latter request was
also backed by trade unions – said Krastev.
