Greece's Autostop soon to open facility in Bojnik – Seventy people to produce artificial leather

Greek company Autostop will employ around 70 workers in the next few months in Bojnik, at the former factory 21. maj, Info Centar Juga learns.

– New jobs and employments are one of the priorities of our local self-government and we are making great efforts to reduce the unemployment. We will achieve this goal in part, because, in the upcoming months, after many years, the municipality of Bojnik will get a new plant – said the president of the municipality of Bojnik, Nebojsa Nenadovic.

Nenadovic explains that preparations are well on the way in the factory hall at 21. maj, where Autostop plans to employ up to 70 workers by the municipality's day, whereas, if all goes according to plan, it should employ a total of 200 workers next year.

– According to the announcements, they will bring a machine long about 100 meters from Greece, which will produce artificial leather, later to be used for car seat upholstery. They are now buying this type of material, and with the opening of the facility in Bojnik, they will be able to produce artificial leather for their own needs – Nenadovic pointed out.

He added that the municipality would provide the investor with all the help it needs, as no factory has been opened in the Pusta Reka factory for a number of years.

– We hope that the opening of this factory will incite other investors to open their facilities in our municipalities, in which they will always be supported by the local management – concluded the president of the municipality of Bojnik, Nebojsa Nenadovic.

The Bojnik facility will act as an outpost of the Autostop factory in Leskovac.
