Gosa goes into bankruptcy once more – Public invitation for sale of plant in Smederevska Palanka most likely in November 2018

The Commercial Court of Pozarevac has reached the decision on the initiation of bankruptcy proceedings in FSV Gosa Smederevska Palanka, the bankruptcy supervisor, Aca Mitic of Zagubica, confirmed for our portal.

The decision was made by the bankruptcy judge Zvezdana Karaklajic at the proposition of Drustvo za Trgovinu i Usluge AA Capital Consulting 2017 Zemun. Let us remind that the decision on the initiation of bankruptcy proceedings in the Smederevska Palanka-based plant was already reached in November 2017 and January 2018 at the proposition of this company, but that the Appellate Court repealed it both times for procedural reasons.

Aca Mitic says for our portal that he expects the bankruptcy proceedings to be initiated this time and that there won't be any complaints, because, as he says, the legal representative had been changed before the initiation of the new bankruptcy proceedings.

– The first creditors' hearing will be held on June 21, and bankruptcy will most likely be declared 90 days later. Property valuation is to follow, and the public invitation for the sale will be opened by the end of the year, most probably in November – Mitic says for our portal.

He explains that a reorganization program can only be submitted by the Tax Administration, which he believes won't happen, because, as he says, “if the state had wanted to help Gosa, it would have already done so”.

Let us remind that Gosa's owner was ZOS Trnava, which sold the plant to the Cypriot company Lisnart in April 2017, and the claims were transferred to the daughter company ZOS Zvolen.
