Palma invites PORR to build production facility in Jagodina

The president of the political party Jedinstvena Srbija, Dragan Markovic Palma, has invited the company PORR to build a production hall in Jagodina.

Markovic reminded that PORR had been present in Jagodina since 2006. As he says, they had recognized Jagodina as the first town in Serbia and the problem of waste disposal and recycling was solved in line with the highest European standards.

He believes that this Vienna-based company could operate throughout Serbia and he has proposed that they build a production hall of 5,000 to 7,000 square meters in Jagodina, whereby the town, as he has promised, would provide them with benefits available to other investors – land and utilities.

– They've had some problems in other parts of the world with their capital, such as the Middle East and Asia, but capital is invested in a secure environment, and Serbia has both political stability and economic security and peace and Serbia is a country where your capital is safe – Markovic said.

He warned that, if towns and municipalities across Serbia didn't get top standard landfills, the country would not be able to become an EU member.
