Tender for sale of Belgrade fair has been published - submission of offers by March, 27, 2009

Agency for privatization of Serbia announced today (December, 26, 2008) the tender for sale of 70% of Belgade fair capital.

As it was announced on the Agency's website www.priv.rs, the right on participation on this tender have all companies which have organized at least 25 exhibitions annualy, over the last three years, and which have made a profit of at least 50 million euros, in 2007.

According to the data from privatization brochure, Belgrade fair capital has been estimated to be 20,5 million euros, and the profit of this company, involved in organization of fair manifestations, was 1,5 million eur, which is 36% more than in 2006.

Belgrade fair occupies a total of 22 hectares, it owns object that spread on 106.241 square meters, among which are 6 exhibition halls of high category with exhibiting space of 53.221 square meters.

The remaining 8 exhibition halls have 16.075 square meters, out of which 10.566 square meters are exhibiting space.

Belgrade fair made 15,32 million euros profit in 2007, and in the period from 2003 until 2007, profit from the services has been increasing on average by 14,2% annualy.

One of the conditions for participation on this tender is purchase of tender documentation by the price of 10.000 euros until February, 27, 2009, and tender can also be participated by a consortium, in which a member, fullfilling listed conditions has at least 25% share.

Deadline for submission of offers is March, 27, 2009, and all interested buyers have to make a deposit payment or submit auction guarantee in the amount of 500.000 euros.

During 2008, Italian "Rimini fiera" and "Reed exhibitions" expressed their interest to participate on this tender.
