The auction for the sale of Jagodinska Pivara has been pronounced unsuccessful for the third time, as there were no interested purchasers. The initial price was RSD 319.95 million and the deposit was RSD 142.2 million.

The previous initial price amounted to RSD 355.5 million.

The brewery is located in a very favorable spot in the main street in Jagodina, on a surface of around six hectares. This plot of land alone, without the facilities and the equipment, if parceled, would be worth EUR 3 million.

Jagodinska Pivara was founded in 1852 and is one of the oldest companies in Serbia.

Prior to the initiation of bankruptcy proceedings, 145 workers were employed at the brewery. They all applied for voluntary leaving through a social program.
