"Krušik akumulatori" plan to export goods to Romania - incomes in 2008 larger by 80%
- Valjevo-based factory "Krušik akumulatori" plans to sign contract with "Romanian Railways" in 2009 on export of batteries - the representatives of that company announced yesterday (December 17, 2008).
The President of the company that is majority owned by British corporation "Euro Balkan" since May 2007, Christofer Charles Butters, said that the batteries had already been delivered to the national railway companies in Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Hungary.
He expressed satisfaction with the fact that the incomes of "Krušik akumulatori" grew by 80% in this year but he did not reveal the value of export.
Butters said that te global economic crisis would influence operations of the company in 2009 and added that the chance for development of that company was the market of Russia, which was less endangered because of the increase in price of oil.
The Management of "Krušik akumulatori" pointed out that the Valjevo-based company delivered electrodes to German company for the first time since 1997.
"Krušik akumulatori" exports products to Mongolia as well, and they plan to return to the markets of Lybia, Iran, Egypt and Kongo where they were present at the time of former SFRY.
Since 2007, Krušik's factory of batteries has been supplying starting batteries to the Air forces of the Army of Serbia.
People in "Krušik akumulatori" announced that the company's incomes in 2009 would be increased by about 100m RSD and that 182 workers had average salary of 25,000 RSD.
