Three offers for construction of ski lift and tracks on Durmitor – Value estimated at around EUR 9 million

Three consortia had submitted bids for the preparation of a preliminary design, the main project and the construction of a six-seat ski-lift and new ski tracks at the Savin Kuk ski complex, within the National Park Durmitor in the municipality of Zabljak, and they were opened at the Directorate of Public Works on Friday, April 13, 2018.

As Vijesti learns unofficially, the Swiss company Bartholet, as the company responsible, offered a price of around EUR 8.4 million, the consortium headed by the Podgorica-based company Novi Volvox and including the renowned Italian ski lift manufacturer Leitner offered around EUR 8.7 million, whereas the consortium of companies Fidija and Doppelmayr offered around EUR 8.8 million.

The Directorate didn't answer Vijesti's question about which companies had sent the bids, what the prices were and what the procedure to follow was.

The estimated value of this procurement, where the procuring entity is the Directorate of Public Works, that is, the Ministry of Sustainable Development of Montenegro, is EUR 9 million.

The famous Swiss ski lift manufacturer Bartholet offered the lowest price at the previous tender for the construction of the Cmiljaca ski lift in Bijelo Polje, but their offer was rejected as irregular.

The Directorate has selected the offer by the consortium headed by Novi Volvox for the construction of the ski lift and three kilometers of ski tracks and the preparation of technical documentation for the artificial snow system for around EUR 8 million, VAT included. The decision is not final, as the deadline for submission of potential complaints to the State Commission has not yet expired. The offer by the consortium of IGP Fidija, Austria's Doppelmayr and several other companies has been rejected as irregular.
