Payment of administrative fees through integrated electronic banking – eGovernment Portal implements new function

In addition to payment slips, all kinds of payment card and electronic money, starting with April 13, the users of the eGovernment Portal can use the integrated electronic banking service of Komercijalna Banka KOM4PAY to pay administrative fees for personal documents, vehicle registration renewal or any other of the 811 services.

In paying fees for services at the eGovernment Portal, the citizens who use electronic banking of Komercijalna Banka are able to make the payment in a simple fashion, fully electronically, by logging in to their electronic banking account. They are then presented with a prepared payment form and all that's left for them to do is to confirm and realize the electronic payment, announced the Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Government of Serbia.

– This is another way of electronic payment at the eGovernment Portal. It doesn't require one to make the payment at the counter and can be used by citizens who don't have payment cards. They only need to be users of Komercijalna Banka's electronic banking. Paying administrative fees this way is safe and simple – says Mihailo Jovanovic, the director of the Office for IT and eGovernment.

– This is the first time that payment for services is realized in Serbia on web portals through integrated electronic banking. I expect that other banks will realize a similar service in the future and the invitation for cooperation is always open – Jovanovic added.

Let us remind that, since December 2017, the payment for services with Dina, MasterCard, Visa and Maestro payment cards of all the banks operating in the Serbian market has been possible at the national eGovernment Portal, whereas payment with electronic money, namely, with iPay vouchers or the iWallet mobile app, was enabled last month. This way, the electronic service of state organs, which used to be only partial, as users needed to make payments at counters, was made complete for the first time, adds the press release of the Office for IT and eGovernment of Serbia.
