VULIN: Serbia to buy Mi-35 combat helicopters from Russia

Serbia will buy Mi-35 combat helicopters from Russia, Serbian Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin announced after a meeting with his Russian colleague, Sergey Shoygu.

– As all armies do, the Serbian military seeks to be as well equipped and armed as possible – he said and added that it had already been agreed for talks about the purchase of four transport helicopters Mi-17 and another four combat helicopters Mi-35 to begin.

– We also discussed the continuation of the military-technical cooperation, the further equipping and modernization of MiGs, the procurement and delivery of M-72 tanks and infantry combat vehicles, as well as certain types of air defense weapons – Vulin added.
