A delegation of Tigar AD, headed by Director General Vladimir Ilic, made a working visit to the French company Decathlon, a strategic buyers for which rubber hunting footwear of the Solognac brand is produced, from March 23 through 26.

The planned realization for this purchaser is around EUR 3.5 million for 2018, and the negotiations define the new possibility of realization of around EUR 5.5 million in the period from April 2018 through April 2019.

Ilic said that the aim of the visit was to define new plans for the 2018-2020 period and new manner of doing business, at the same time entailing an increase in sale and an expansion of the market and the creation of a common platform and team for the development of new products with better performances.

The plans define the introduction of 12 to 16 new Solognac (rubber hunting footwear) models to the footwear plant's facilities and an increase in production by over 50%.

The company says that, as Decathlon has the strategy of expansion in the world market and plans to open new sales outlets in the USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico and over 15 African countries in the next three years, it is necessary for the production capacities of the footwear factory to match the increase in production in the upcoming period.
