"Perkon" Velika Plana, waiting for privatization scheduled for February 17, 2005, started production of jackets for export

In spite of difficulties, Fashion-Sports Gear Company "Perkon" in Velika Plana, remained the leader among manufacturers of winter jackets and mountain-climbing equipment in the country. In addition to this, it gradually enters the market of Western Europe once again, where it used to sell 80% of total production.

At the moment, clothing is being produced for the buyers from Austria, whereas the negotiations with the customers from Great Britain and Italy are underway. Current employment of factory capacities is 70%. Starting from February 7, 2005, all workers of "Perkon" will be back to work.

Privatization is scheduled for February 17, 2005.
