Iranian Film Festival until March 18 at Yugoslav Film Archive

Ahead of the Iranian New Year, which falls on March 21, the 17th Iranian Film Festival opens tonight, March 14, 2018, at the Yugoslav Film Archive, the Iranian Cultural Center in Belgrade announces.

The movie Ranna's Silence, by Behzad Rafiei, will be screened at the opening ceremony. By Sunday, March 18, the audience will be able to see Voice of Silence (dir. Hadi Naeiji), Under the Smoky Roof (dir. Pouran Derakhshandeh), As Simple as That (dir. Reza Mirkarimi) and Azar, Shahdokht, Parviz and Others (dir. Behruz Afkhami).

The movies deal with various social topics and were made between 2008 and 2017.

The festival is organized by the Iranian Cultural Center of the Embassy of Iran in Belgrade and the Yugoslav Film Archive.
