Slovanian daily newpaper for finance and economy "Finance" writes today (November 24, 2008) that Serbia claims over 1m EUR for its property in Slovenia.
"Finance" points out that "the Government in Belgrade strikes back and asks for the properties of Serbian enterprises in Slovenia to be returned to them".
"Serbian enterprises want 46 properties back, which got new owners or users following the breaking of Yugoslavia", Slovenian daily newspaper writes.
Total of 27 Serbian enterprises ask for their properties to be returned to them and this list of enterprises includes Kragujevac-based "Zastava", three banks in bankruptcy, "Galenika", etc.
"It is almost for sure", says "Finance", "that certain part of Serbian public property was sold during the famous Slovenian privatization".
Describing in details what happened following the adoption of the Viennese Agreement on succession of common property of former Yugoslavia, the newspaper also writes that Slovenia would like to resolve this problem within the scope of that agreement, while Serbia insists on bilateral settlement and new agreement.
