DHL to build new logistics center in Vienna

The German logistics group DHL is consolidating its cargo activities in Vienna at the Schwechat Airport.

East of the airport, in the city of Fischamend, DHL will build a logistics center with 12,000 square meters, it was said on Monday, March 12, 2018, at the press conference on the occasion of the signing of the agreement.

The current three locations in the Vienna area will be closed after the new facility is put into operation.

The cooling capacities, important to the pharmaceutical industry, will double in the first phase of the expansion, Seebiz reports.
