Robbie Williams to no longer perform his biggest hit live

The British pop star Robbie Williams will no longer perform one of his most famous songs, “Angels”, because, as he says, he isn’t capable of handling the emotions that go into performing the song live.

In his interview for Daily Star, the singer says that he often cries when members of the audience reveal what his biggest hit means to them.

– I have to hold myself together or I could cry over everything and I'd look pathetic. There are people who put posters up before Angels about their mum or dad who died and I think “Oh God, I am going to cry”. It did affect me – Williams explained.

The singer announced that he is planning a new show focusing on his B-sides and out-takes.

The Serbian audience was able to hear a live performance of “Angels” for the first and, probably, the last time, at Usce in 2015.
