"Vodafone" introduces 3G mobile system to Montenegro ?

British telecommunications giant "Vodafone" will most probably take part in the announced tender for issuing of licenses for new 3G mobile system and special Internet services.

While the Agency for Telecommunications points out that it expects that the third mobile operator will show up, the Government of Montenegro say that nobody from Vodafone has contacted them so far.

"Vodafone" would take part in the tender through some of its daughter companies from the neighboring countries.

New operator can share market of 650,000 citizens as the third operator, or it can try to “destroy“ some of the present operators - Monet and Promonte.
