Tai Group purchases property of Autotransport Kraljevo – Turkish company to build hotel in Belgrade as well?

As expected, the second public auction for the sale of the complex of the auto-base of the Kraljevo-based company Autotransport took place at the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency in Belgrade on Monday, January 29, 2018.

As Politika reports, the movable and the immovable property was sold at the initial price of RSD 260 million to the only interested bidder, the Turkish company Tai Group.

Tai Group plans to open a clothing plant in the facility, where around 2,500 workers are to be employed, Politika reports.

Belgrade to get Four Seasons hotel?

Belgrade media report today that Tai Group is interested in raising a Four Seasons hotel in Belgrade.

According to Novosti, these are the concrete results of the talks between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, that took place on Monday, January 29, 2018, “along with the mutual will to strengthen economic and political ties between the two countries”.

As Novosti adds, along with the facility in Kraljevo, Turkish investors might open another 4 factories in the upcoming period as well.
