When it comes to beer, everyone has their own preference. For some, the right measure is half a liter, whereas others prefer smaller glasses. Lonely Planet reports on where the cheapest places to buy a pint (568 milliliters) are.

If the road takes you to Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, you can safely buy a round of beer, as a pint costs an average of EUR 0.58. If you're going out with 6 or 7 friends, a round will cost you only EUR 4!

On the other end of the list is Dubai, where a pint costs EUR 9.85, making you think twice whether to buy one for yourself, let alone a whole round.

Prices of a pint were compared in 177 of the world's most populated cities. It seems that you can also go bankrupt ordering beer in Doha (EUR 9.85), Reykjavik (EUR 8.50) and Oslo (EUR 8.1).

On the other hand, following Caracas, the cheapest cities to buy a pint are Tashkent (EUR 0.67) and Lagos (EUR 0.72).

The list also features Belgrade (EUR 1.67).
