Additional opportunity for potential concessionaires – Deadline for offers for construction of 4 underground garages in Belgrade extended until March 12

The tender for the selection of a private partner which is to build four underground garages in downtown Belgrade and manage them over the next 40 years should have been completed on January 31, but the deadline for the submission of offers has been extended until March 12.

The changes made to the public invitation for the awarding of the concession for designing, financing, building, managing, maintaining and transferring four underground garages in the territory of Serbian capital have also been published on the website of the City of Belgrade.

The garages in question should be located in the Students' Square, the Republic Square, the Vlajkoviceva Street and the Fruskogorska Street, and the construction of these garages, according to earlier announcements, should provide another 1,900 parking spaces.

The project has been estimated at 35 to 40 million euros.

Let us remind that the initial invitation said that the concessionaire would be paying the two-part concession fee to the City. The first part is paid as a single sum upon the financial closing of the project. The second one is paid annually, as a fixed fee per number of parking spaces in each operating garage. The concession period is 40 years.
