IT system of real estate land registry in Belgrade upgraded

The Land Registry Service has implemented the first phase of a new software solution in all 17 municipalities of Belgrade and introduced an upgrade information system of the real estate land registry, due to which there were long queues at the counters prior to the holidays, the Republic Geodetic Authority announced.

At the same time, the RGA announces that it will start implementing a new IT system in the Nisava District from January 8, which will help citizens use land registry services in a quicker and easier fashion.

The preparation of the new IT system is realized as part of the “Upgrade of Land Administration in Serbia” project, supported by the World Bank.

The new document management system is the largest anti-corruption measure implemented in the RGA so far. Each activity now leaves a digital trace, thereby increasing security in the sense of ownership over real estate property, the press release says.
