Chinese Blue Sky signs memorandum on construction of 4 plastic processing plants in Cuprija – Value of investment EUR 12 million

Representatives of the Municipality of Cuprija and the Chinese group Blue Sky Europe International Industry and Trade Technology signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday, January 4, which is the first step in the realization of the project of construction of a Chinese industrial park with four plastic processing plants, in which 500 people are to be employed. The first phase of the investment has been evaluated at EUR 12 million.

The document was signed by the president of the municipality of Cuprija, Ninoslav Eric, and representatives of Blue Sky Guangguo Zhou i Zaicheng Zhao.

– This is the first phase, in which four plants should open, after which we will work on the further project of an industrial park – Eric said.

According to him, the first four plants will produce plastic granules, which is the basis for a further development of an industrial park and the construction of plastic product plants. From 2019, this park should become an integral production unit in which manufacturers of plastic goods will be provided with everything from raw materials to semi-finished products to ideal logistics conditions.

Blue Sky is a company founded in Serbia by investors for the city of Linyi, the center of production and processing of plastic in China.

As Ninoslav Eric announced previously, the construction of the Chinese industrial park is supported by the Government of Serbia.
