Tender for second phase of extension of water plant in Uzice in January 2018

Following the completion of the first phase of reconstruction and extension of the water filtering plant in Uzice, the capacities and the quality of the water have improved, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic stated today.

She said that the project was unique and added that the issue of water supply in Uzice needed to be solved promptly.

– The ministry has set aside RSD 280 million from the budget, which is what the second phase has been estimated to be worth, and it should be completed in eight months. We expect the public procurement procedure to open in January and the contract to be signed in February – Mihajlovic said.

According to her, when it comes to water supply in the entire territory of Serbia, around EUR 250 million will be invested.
