Loznica to get waste water treatment facility – Documentation to be prepared in 2018

Vodovod Loznica is looking at new projects in 2018, the most important of which is the preparation of the documentation for a waste water treatment facility, also the biggest investment expected in the upcoming period, whereas the water supply network in Gornja Koviljaca should be developed next year as well, Loznicke Novosti reports.

According to Milan Radnic, director of Vodovod Loznica, the works in Zajaca and Korenita will be completed by the end of the year. The reservoir in Zajaca has been completed, Radnic told Loznicke Novosti, and smaller tasks, fencing off, installing electrical equipment and commissioning remain, whereas the Duboki Potok pipeline is complete.

– Our part of the job in Zajaca will be completed by the end of the year, and the citizens are only to prepare the installation and submit a request for connection. There have not been any requests yet, though. In Korenita, that is, the Duboki Potok-Gnila pipeline, it only remains to mount the chlorine station and it's ready for use. All in all, we will complete these two very important investments before the end of the year – he said for Loznicke Novosti.

Let us remind that around ten kilometers of the Duboki Potok-Gnila pipeline has been completed, whereas Zajaca now has a primary pipeline of 2,400 meters and a secondary one of 2,200 meters, as well as a reservoir of 150 cubic meters. This will enable regular water supply to around 870 households in Korenita, whereas in Zajaca, around 110 households will be connected to the network. As announced earlier, the value of the works in Zajaca and Korenita amounts to around EUR 663,000.
