New automatic foundry for flotation balls in IC "Guča" - investment worth 2.5m EUR

- Industrial combine "Guča", which operates within concern "Farmakom", has invested 2.5m EUR in the new automatic foundry for production of flotation balls. The capacity of the foundry is 15 to 20 flotation balls per shift, and the assembly-line production is going to start soon - the CEO of the company, Radovan Ilić, announced.
Production is intended for both local and foreign market. Total of 70% of products are exported to Germany, Italy, Macedonia, Croatia and Netherlands.
The CEO announced that the modernized old foundry would be put in operation at the end of October and that its capacity would be increased by 70%, while the productivity would be four times bigger following the realization of 500,000 EUR worth of investment in new smelter furnaces.
- The biggest buyer of flotation balls in the country is RTB "Bor" and it will be delivered 1,200 tons by the New Year, which means that this company increases production as well - Ilić pointed out.
