A new, so-called closed, regime of toll collection was established today on the Belgrade-Subotica highway

Darko Savic of the Sector for Toll Collection at the PE Roads of Serbia says that the new system means more affordable tolls, as they will be paid per kilometer, unlike the previous open system.

This means that the toll for passenger cars at the following toll booths will be:

Indjija – RSD 70

Maradik – 80

Beska – 100

Kovilj – 140

Novi Sad – 210

Zmajevo – 320

Vrbas – 360

Feketic – 440

Backa Topola – 480

Zednik – 520

Subotica-South – 560.

Two entry/exit toll booths, Stara Pazova and Subotica-South, will be operational on the Belgrade-Subotica section.

Citizens will pick up the tickets at either one and pay the toll when exiting the highway, Savic explains.

He reminds that five new side toll booths, from Sirig to Subotica, have been opened.

These are Zmajevo, Vrbas, Feketic, Backa Topola and Zednik and they are located on both sides of the highway.

The toll booth Sirig will be closed.

– The entry/exit toll booth South has 40% more capacity than Sirig, which is to be closed – Savic said.
