"Delta holding" to open first "Delta City" trade center in Podgorica on October 1st

Serbian company "Delta" will open the first "Delta City" trade center in Podgorica on October 1st.

"Delta City" shopping mall in the capital of Montenegro, in which "Delta" invested 60m EUR, will have two levels at total surface of 48,000 square meters, which is the approximate size of ten football stadiums.

One third of 75 outlets in "Delta City" will be taken by brand new trademarks in Montenegrin market, and the shopping mall will also include the first "Delta" hypermarket "supermaxi" in Montenegro.

The preliminary project for development of "Delta City" in Podgorica was elaborated by Israeli-Canadian company "MYS", led by architect Ami Mur, while the author of the main project is Belgrade-based "Dizajn arhitektura".

Construction management was entrusted to Belgrade-based "Delta invest", while Podgorica-based company "CDS Project" was in charge of supervision of the works.


The main contractor was company "Čelebić" from Podgorica with 20 subcontractors from Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia. The facility was built by over 1,000 workers.

Podgorica's "Delta City" is the second shopping mall opened by "Delta holding" since this company opened the first shopping mall one year ago in Belgrade. Total of 74m EUR was invested in that facility at 85,000 square meters.
