"Lohr" plans construction of industrial complex in Bačka Topola

Company for production of trailers for transportation of passenger vehicles "Lohr" from Bačka Topola plans to have an industrial complex built at about 25 ha in that town.

For the needs of realization of that project, "Lohr" bought 60% of the property of building company "Prvi maj", including the factory halls of that company, at the beginning of the week.

The property includes 15,416 square meters of facilities that were owned by companies "Ciglana", "Zanatstvo", "Izgradnja", "Projekat", holding "Prvi maj" and "Uslužne delatnosti", and they are sold to "Lohr" for 33.5m RSD.

That company, which annually produces 1,000 specialized transporters, is interested in taking over remaining 40% of the property of former holding company "Prvi maj", which is owned by public company SPM, in case it is offered for sale.

"Lohr" plans to increase production and expand the product portfolio by launching new trailer for city transportation of automobiles.

People in that company announced that the plan for future activities of the company included hiring of 150 workers, development of new production units, parking space and storage space.
