As society today depends ever more on information and communications technologies (ICT), cyberthreats continue to proliferate and evolve. Because of the frenetic pace of both ICT deployment and the expansion of the threat landscape, Kaspersky Lab believes that increased cooperation to protect cyberspace is more crucial than ever. Kaspersky Lab is passionately committed to protecting its customers around the world from cyber threats with market-leading technology and analysis – regardless of the purpose or origin of those threats.

Trust is essential in cybersecurity

Trust is essential in cybersecurity, and therefore trust should be the foundation of any collaboration among those seeking to secure individuals, organizations and enterprises from cyberthreats. However, Kaspersky Lab also recognizes that trust is not a given; it must be repeatedly earned through an ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability.

Customer's choice

Kaspersky Lab has been recognized for its customer satisfaction ratings, receiving the Platinum Award as part of the 2017 Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Awards for Endpoint Protection Platforms. Verified by end-user professionals, the Customer Choice Awards recognize vendors that are rated by their customers.

Cooperations with the IT security community

Kaspersky Lab believes that joint effort is the most effective way of fighting cybercriminals. We work together with the global IT security community, international organisations, national and regional law enforcement agencies, including: INTERPOL and Europol.

– Interpol’s new agreement with Kaspersky Lab is an additional step in our continued efforts to ensure law enforcement worldwide has access to the information they need to combat cyberthreats. We have seen how cooperation with the private sector is essential in effectively tackling this global phenomenon which continues to grow in scale and complexity – said Noboru Nakatani, Executive Director of Global Complex for Innovation, Interpol.

– There are no plans to warn users against the use of Kaspersky products as the BSI has no evidence of misconduct by the company or suspicions of weaknesses in its software. The BSI has no indications at this time that the process occurred as described in the media – said BSI, German Federal Agency for IT-security.

Global Transparency Initiative

Kaspersky Lab will be launching a Global Transparency Initiative to demonstrate its commitment to earning and maintaining the trust of customers and partners.

The company will establish three transparency centers in the U.S, the EU and the Asia-Pacific region to address any security issues together with customers, trusted partners and government stakeholders. The centers will serve as a facility for trusted partners to access reviews on the company’s code, software updates, and threat detection rules, along with other activities.

The company's principles of cooperation with law enforcement agencies, commercial and public entities, can be found at this link.

Kaspersky Lab's core goals remain the same today as they have throughout our 20-year history: to provide top quality cybersecurity solutions and helping fight cyber threats.
