Construction of four-seat ski lift started on Kopaonik, €5m
Installation of two new four-seat ski lifts worth about €5m started in the Tourist Center Kopaonik. The Government of Serbia set aside €2m for financing of that project, whereas the remaining part will be provided by Genex group and Austrian company Doppelmayr.
The plan is that the new ski lifts produced by company Doppelmayr be installed on the ski tracks on Pančić’s peak and Mali Karaman before the beginning of the season. Their installation should prevent crowds and shorten drive to Pančić’s peak from 25 to 5 minutes. Genex system on Kopaonik mountain has total of 21 ski lifts that cover 60 kilometers of organized ski tracks.
